Material Handling Coordinator I
Material Handling Coordinator Ideal Candidate Profile
QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive and well-organized full-time Material Handling Coordinator I that will be responsible for counting, issuing, staging, and storing raw materials in bins.
Material Handling Coordinator Job Summary
Count, inspect, issue, and stage material for production jobs.
Count verification activities and inventory reconciliation.
Assist in other warehouse areas when required.
Operate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift, and other moving equipment.
Perform inventory movement including storing raw materials in bins.
Adhere to all safety policies; including wearing personal protective equipment when required.
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly.
Participate in required company meetings.
Qualifications
Material Handling Coordinator Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of material handling experience.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents.
Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents.
Mechanical Aptitude.
Dexterity and hand and eye coordination.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Desirable Qualifications
Certificates
Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations.
