Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
100% in-office, split between both locations.
Role Description:
On of our largest clients is currently looking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner that will be responsible for patient care within their scope of practice in a clinical setting. Primary duties include administering ordered therapies, completing the admission process, performing physical assessments, documenting patient data, and communicating effectively with the IV team. The role also involves educating patients and families, participating in the Quality Improvement program, and ensuring all medication orders are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer therapies according to prescriber orders and facility protocols
Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director
Perform physical assessments and document findings
Report significant changes to the Center Director and follow up on identified problems
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA laws
Evaluate patient responses to therapy and document findings
Educate patients and families about therapy plans
Participate in the Quality Improvement program
Ensure medication orders are complete and accurate
Participate in the On-Call program, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and support new market launches
Extensive travel to worksites and other locations as necessary
Qualifications:
MS in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Experience with IVs required
Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice in applicable state
Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
Healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred
Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver during the onboarding process.
Additional Information:
The role involves working in a care center, assisted living, clinic, or member home and having access to medication.
A COVID vaccination is required.
