RS&H is currently seeking an Inspector Aide to join our team in the Orlando, FL area.
This position will work outside on an active construction site. As part of the construction management team, you'll grow your knowledge of construction management by performing limited functions within the scope of a larger project and may serve as a field or project technician under the direct supervision and technical guidance of an experienced team member(s); performing routine field inspection tasks under the direction of others, which may include conducting field tests or data collection and observing in-progress construction to ensure that workmanship and materials used are in reasonable compliance with plans and specifications; recording quantities of materials received or used; maintaining daily reports of construction and inspection activities, including maintaining a daily log recording activities of construction and quantities for payment to the contractor; assisting in maintaining as-built plans and field books; and assisting in preparing daily construction reports, contract items lists, and final records for the project.
