Sanofi has currently the best and more robust pipeline of R&D and consequent new launches of our history. As new phase of Play-To-Win strategy, funding this pipeline and new launches is key to materialize the miracles of the science to improve people lives. Thus, as we enter into the next phase, modernization of Sanofi is required as per the recent announcements on DRIVE, and in this respect, we are in the beginning stages of organizing the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team at global level.
GTMC organization will help us to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board and bring value and excellence in our commercial operations. This move is a key part of the aimed modernization of Sanofi and will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.
As part of GTMC, vision of the Omnichannel pillar is the definition of Sanofi-wide best-in-class omnichannel engagement strategy, incl. development of standards & best practices across markets and brand teams, as well as executional planning and support of local omnichannel approaches (incl. change management); GTMC will also collaborate closely with Digital to provide consistent tools.
Centralization of Go-to-Market excellence and operational tasks across GBUs.
Standardizing best in class capabilities with strengthened global support while verticalization of reporting within GTMC from local to global.
Defining clear ways of working and bringing clarity on interfaces with GBUs, Digital, and executional support on commercial operations from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency.
GenAI Strategic context We are reaching the end of a successful GenAI pilots phase - proving GenAI potential in terms of efficiency & effectiveness, and as a key enabler to reach Sanofi's ambition for best-in-class customer engagement.
Following pilots' output and learnings, we are now launching a new phase into commercial acceleration with GenAI, to upgrade our commercialization capabilities to best-in-class with GenAI and make Sanofi the leader in launches.
Our vision for the next phase is to leverage GenAI to elevate our commercial capabilities to the forefront of the industry. Here's how we plan to achieve this:
Deliver real-life value for business teams by deploying new GenAI-powered end-to-end model thanks to a "lighthouse" approach, starting with Dupixent US and Toujeo CSE followed by a rapid scale-up across other brands & markets
Launch two GenAI delivery entities: (i) Content Powerhouse (hosted within GTMC Omichannel) acting as an "internal agency", advising brands to direct requests to the best providers, including internal capabilities to deliver GenAI-powered content assets and (ii) GenAI Tech POD (hosted in Digital) delivering GenAI tech solutions (the POD is already operational and being reinforced to absorb scale-up needs)
This effort will be driven by a GenAI Transformation team (hosted in GTMC Omnichannel) to steer program and scale-up based on business needs. As part of this GenAI Content Transformation Team, the GenAI Transformation Manager will be accountable for leading agile & cross-functional GLocal transformation teams for a sequence of markets x Brands as well as driving scale up of identified initiatives.
