GPIhas an immediate opening for a Transportation Engineer in our Columbia, MD office to help further the growth and development of GPIs transportation design presence in the region.

Responsibilities:
Deliver projects for clients such as the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Delaware Department of TransportationBuild effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client & multidiscipline teams.Prepare and complete engineering designs that are responsive to project needs.Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget.Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and estimates.Mentor staff in the advancement of transportation design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.5+ years' experience in all aspects of Transportation Engineering preferred.Experience working on MDOT and/or DelDOT projects preferredPE licensure.Experience in all aspects of roadway design.Experience with roadway modeling software.Experience with MicroStation and InRoads/ORD.Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
