TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Germantown, TN or Atlanta, GA.

The Supply Continuity Team plays a key role in major, long term projects for TKE like Resourcing, NPI Purchasing and Outsourcing initiatives as well as add hock continuous improvement projects, supply continuity and risk mitigation project for TKE NA Manufacturing.
As a Supply Chain Manager for Supply Continuity for TKE NA Manufacturing, this position will focus on Sourcing, Procurement, Process Integration, Transition Management and Supplier Performance Management ensuring an efficient end to end supply chain.
This role requires a hands-on personality with excellence organizational skills, communicating with personnel on all levels to achieve business goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Reduce MFG overhead and CAPEX by identifying outsourcing opportunities and develop a strategic plan that focuses in integrating entire subsystems of components, rather than isolated parts in order to maintain production efficiencies

  • Evaluate potential new suppliers, market trends and risk factors for potential outsourcing projects

  • Understand detailed manufacturing processes requirements for potential outsourcing projects.

  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical supplier

  • Perform RFI's, RFQ's, RFP's

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring alignment on quality, cost, and delivery expectations

  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations, focusing on performance metrics such as quality, delivery, and responsiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Lead negotiations for supplier contracts, focusing on achieving cost reductions while maintaining quality and delivery standards

  • Collaborate with Finance to track budget impact and ensure that procurement strategies support overall financial goals

  • Implement and track supplier performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality, and cost competitiveness

  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and reinforce strategic goals

  • Identify cost-savings opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement

  • On potential outsourcing projects: manage the transition of component production from in-house to suppliers, ensuring that all parties understand the technical specifications required and govern the supplier integration progress to support near-term manufacturing transition, ensuring targeted timelines are met

  • Build relationship and manage stakeholder internally and cross-functionally within TKE NA (Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, ...), influence and collaborate with the global and local procurement and supply management team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Engineering or similar

  • Professional certifications in Sourcing, Negotiations, Procurement, Project Management, Six Sigma beneficial

  • IT Skills - Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio, Teams) required, SAP, Oracle and Ariba/Jaegger beneficial

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics and/or Project Management

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles especially as it relates to elevator systems and components

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and commodity management

  • Deep understanding of procurement strategies

  • Outsourcing experience

  • Ability to evaluate the potential for bundling components or assemblies to optimize costs

  • Expertise in analyzing market trends, supplier landscapes and component pricing to make informed, strategic decisions

  • Highly skilled in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and drive cost savings without compromising on quality or delivery while managing supplier relationships to ensure long-term alignment with strategic goals

  • Ability to identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans

  • Detail-oriented in reviewing supplier proposals, contracts and performance date to ensure accuracy and success

  • Experience in implementing and tracking supplier performance using KPI's and lead quarterly business reviews with Manufacturing suppliers

  • Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems required.
