Job Description:
The DHHS Public Health Division is seeking a Temporary IT Infrastructure Support Analyst for our WIC Program.
Job Duties:
Implementing and maintaining the first web-based participant Portal
Testing, implementing, and maintaining updated technology resources related to the WIC data system and Participant texting.
Creating data reports from the WIC data system.
Network server support and coordination including software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Researching and testing new IT products to increase program efficiencies.
Providing technical support to internal and external end-users of the above systems.
Assisting with system back-ups, user management, and monitoring system performance.
Training, create and provide training for end users.
Acting Liaison with WIC IT vendors.
Requirements/ Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:Associate degree in computer science and two years of related technical and business experience. Two years of related technical and business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. OR Post-high school coursework in computer science and three years of related technical and business experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge:
This position requires a skilled IT professional. A successful candidate must exercise independent judgment to test, implement, and evaluate IT applications. They will also help assess and assist with IT network server needs and assist end-users through training or help desk activities.
Ability:
The successful candidate will navigate an IT ticketing system to enter and coordinate tickets from creation to resolution. The position requirement is either an Associate Degree in Information technology OR 2 years of experience in IT network management, application development, or similar.
