The Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) is a labor organization, advocating for public education since 1852, representing 178,000 members who primarily work in school settings. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director to join our Human Resources Division and drive talent acquisition efforts that reflect our values of equity, respect, unionism and integrity. You will lead the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
This senior level position will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Responsibilities include developing and actually performing the recruitment related Human Resources functions. This position will secondarily serve as a human resources generalist, assisting with all employee benefits, leave management, employee and labor relations tasks as directed.
Essential, required competencies include excellent organization and technical skills interpersonal /EI/EQ skills appropriate for a human resources division, excellent oral and written communication skills, tact in handling confidential information and, the ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks.
