Wolf Line Construction (WLC) is growing and looking for dynamic candidates for the position of Assistant Project Manager. This is a full-time position based in Ohio.
The position requires experience managing infrastructure projects. This project is specifically involved with installing broadband networks (aerial and underground fiber optic cable installation) and quality control in rural America. The Assistant Project Manager helps ensure that the project is completed safely, to the client's satisfaction and specifications, on time and within budget.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Work hand in hand with Client Representatives and Wolf Line Project Manager, General Foremen, Project Engineers, and Coordinators.
Help PM manage development of construction and execution plans for WLC and its subcontractors.
Assist in creating and maintaining project production and productivity tracking spreadsheets for weekly review.
Attend all company and client status meetings related to WLC.
Act as WLC safety observer while on site to ensure compliance with WLC safety program.
May assist in preparing bid proposals, contract negotiations, and negotiating costs within the scope of a project.
Support PM in holding vendors accountable to ensure budget is maintained; ensuring management and customers are aware of issues that may impact project schedule or cost.
Provide support for problem solving project issues that arise and making recommendations based on priorities and the need to ensure the project schedule and budget are maintained.
