3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
PACS Administration experience
Ability to troubleshoot radiology platforms
Provide documentation
Ability to perform database backups
have some ability to administer troubleshooting and documentation of cardio/hemo platforms, or be able to be trained up to do so
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience using PACS systems
Experience with Merge Cardio/Hemo and/or experience with Unity PACS is preferred
most recently in an admin role, (configuring, execution, maintenance, operations of PACS hardware and software)
someone that comes from a modality PACS technician role then moved into more of an IT Admin role would be a good background
Preferably have been hands on with the Unity PACS product
If they do not have Unity exposure, they will need to have exposure to another product (I.e. GE (Centricity), Philips, Sectra, Fujifilm Synapse, Change Healthcare, Carestream Vue, etc.)
Preferably someone that has exposure to administration, routing and Data flow of cardio/hemodynamics systems
this is a less critical part of the day to day role, about 30%
