Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. required.
3-6 years copyediting and fact-checking experience preferred.
Excellent grammar and usage skills, an eye for detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and strong, collegial communication skills are required.
Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and Sheets, content management systems, and XML editors is a plus.
Experience reviewing other copy editors' work is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Copyediting and fact-checking reference articles and other types of content for style, fairness, accuracy and consistency, grammar, and spelling.
Some proofreading.
