TeDan Surgical Innovations, Inc. (TSI) designs and manufactures specialty surgical products for use in orthopedic, neuro, thoracic and spine surgeries.

TSI was founded in 2006 with the goal to innovate and address evolving access techniques in spine surgery. We have successfully addressed the need for minimally invasive surgical approaches to the spine, and have introduced access instrumentation for neurological, orthopedic, and cardiothoracic procedures. Job Summary:

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for executing key IT strategic and operational activities to support business operations as well as proactively enhance the company's global IT capabilities. The incumbent works with company leadership to understand the priorities and needs of the organization and to devise and implement the plans to meet business needs. This includes identifying and implementing new business systems (or enhancing existing systems), securing and maintaining a reliable and resilient infrastructure, and maintaining IT compliance with documented corporate and regulatory standards and controls.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

  • Ownership of IT operations for IT Infrastructure and key business systems.
  • To develop corporate and/or organizational IT policies and oversee their implementation and adherence.
  • To maintain secure data management systems and environments.
  • Manage deployments, software licenses and endpoint protection for all devices
  • To support and enhance IT solutions of all operations (to include but not limited to networking, telephony, key business systems (ERP), production & materials planning, CRM and other sales and marketing reporting, Quality Management, etc) and e-commerce and web-based applications.
  • To implement approved IT plans and projects, including hardware and software systems.
  • To perform hardware and software evaluations and vendor contracts reviews, provide guidance to stakeholders on best fit solutions.
  • To be an escalation resource for all sites and departments of the company for any IT related issues.
  • Provide direct training and on-demand training content to users on hardware and software as required.
  • To manage assigned IT staff or external resources and direct their efforts to achieve targeted service levels.
  • The IT Manager must possess a blend of business and technical knowledge that will enable them to understand the business needs and work with all areas of the company to find and deliver innovative IT solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of core business processes (Order-To-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record -to-Report)
  • Exposure to mid-size ERP Implementation Projects, including migration and consolidation.
  • Experience in a small- to mid-sized business with high growth, high pace, preferably in Medical Device or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with key business systems such as ERP, QMS, CRM, and PLM systems and their interdependencies
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulated environments, Quality Management Systems and/or systems validation requirements.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems and Document Management Systems
  • Understanding of Data Integration and Migration Tools and Process
  • Experience with basic SQL Server Administration
  • Experience with supporting Power BI and its adoption in an organization

Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in related field and at least 3 years in IT Management.
  • Experience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problems
  • Multi-site manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong technical problem solving and communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, detailed oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Project Management experience (IT and cross-functional), ideally Agile or hybrid IT Service and Support Management
  • ERP systems lifecycle - design, support, and enhancements
  • Database applications design and Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • O365 Administration and Adoption
  • Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation

  • Occasionally requires attending corporate functions
  • Requires travel (10-20%)
