We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our Research and Development team. This role is ideal for individuals who have recently earned or are in the process of earning a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and have 0-1 years of lab-based experience. The R&D Lab Technician will support ongoing research projects by assisting in various laboratory tasks, performing experiments, and ensuring smooth daily lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of research experiments under the guidance of senior R&D staff.
Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and document findings according to established procedures.
Collect, record, and analyze experimental data; assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
Help calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Assist with literature reviews and background research to support ongoing projects.
Support other R&D team members with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline) OR currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (with at least 2 years completed).
0-1 years of laboratory experience (internships, coursework labs, volunteer experience, etc. are acceptable).
Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and scientific principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and protocols (e.g., pipetting, preparing solutions, maintaining lab equipment).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work with chemicals, biological materials, and laboratory equipment.
Must be able to stand, sit, and work for extended periods in a laboratory environment.
