Manager, Physical Production - Live-Action, Unscripted Series, Kids, 1470-1

We are seeking an experienced Manager to help manage third party productions, inclusive of a wide range of unscripted programming from game shows, multi-cam stage shows to docu-reality follow and competition aimed at a 6-12-year-olds + Families audience. Role will also be working with our Live-action Content Executive to advise on production matters for Scripted Co-productions and acquisitions. Candidates must have unscripted game show experience as a producer, line producer, or production executive. Experience in kids game show, unscripted content and Scripted Production is a plus.

The core focus of this role will include the studio management of various large format series. Responsibilities include selecting and vetting partner studios/companies; vetting key hires at the partner; potentially creating the initial schedule and budget for the project, and managing at a distance all aspects of the production via our partner studios. This role reports into Animation Series Production Management, working closely with Unscripted Series, to execute on Kids Unscripted slate.

This is a demanding and fast-moving position requiring someone who is a proactive and positive thinker that is able to exercise good judgment and initiative while working with a high-volume production slate.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Key liaison with Kids Animation & Live Action Content for slate and production strategy for Kids Unscripted Series; Key liaison and thought partner to Content
• Responsible for oversight and management of Kids unscripted slate from a production POV, from development through delivery including, but not limited to:

o May create and oversee initial budgets/schedules for development/production; otherwise vet series budgets with third party production companies

o Responsible for internal development milestones, schedules, and budgets, as applicable

o Oversee/approve the hiring/approval of key show personnel by partner studios/Assist with identification and curation of experienced, high quality production staff and crew ie: Showrunners, EPs, LPs, ADs, etc. (as applicable)

o Liaise with the production partner to ensure they are onboarded and trained to lean on our various tools and workflows

o Gathering, tracking and entering various production related data among multiple platforms
• Facilitate and expedite communication between key x-functional partners within our company.
• Responsible for key messaging and updates to Animation Content and Production
• Assess and relationship-build with production partners new to workflows.
• Audit completion/delivery of production materials during pre, production, and wrap.
• Collaborate effectively with internal operations and technical teams to streamline workflows across all apps and content teams.
• ? Lead initial kick off and ongoing production meetings for a large number of productions
• ? Any duties as necessary to support the productions.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience working in production management for unscripted series (particularly game show unscripted series), in the field, at a network, or production company. Kids Unscripted and Scripted Live-action experience is a plus.
• Candidates will likely be at the line producer/head of production level equivalent outside of our company.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, simultaneously supporting several projects in various phases of production (from evaluation to production through delivery) and courage to take educated risks while thinking outside the box while always responding in a timely manner
• Team-player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Passionately curious about all aspects of production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask

Pay Rate Range:
• $ 100-120/hr.
