Contract: W2, 4-months
Location: Reynoldsburg, OH (Hybrid schedule: Onsite 3x per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday)
Pay Range: $38-41/Hour DOE
Brief Summary:
This is an entry-level individual contributor role serving as the business manager for a smaller or less complex book of business. The Planner will be responsible for translating the Merchant's vision into viable plans, developing sales, inventory, and margin strategies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
Translate Merchant strategies into actionable and profitable financial plans for assigned merchandise categories.
Develop and maintain sales, inventory, and margin plans to meet financial targets.
Collaborate with Merchants and Planners to optimize assortment strategies by cluster and distribution channels (Stores, Internet, Catalogue, Wholesale).
Partner with Demand Forecasters to ensure alignment between statistical forecasts, merchandise plans, and business goals.
Analyze performance data and make recommendations for inventory and sales improvements.
Contribute to assortment planning and cluster strategy adjustments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, economics, business, statistics, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, allocation, replenishment, financial planning, or analysis.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and features.
Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make recommendations to optimize business performance.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.
