Professional Search Group OC is seeking a DMV Specialist to join their client's team! The DMV Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing all DMV paperwork in a timely manner including perfection of liens, title releases, and title transfers on all vehicles held as collateral.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and process DMV documents to insure lien perfection in a timely manner.
Contact member for any missing DMV forms needed to perfect lien.
Contact dealers when necessary to complete lien filing in a timely manner.
Follow up and communicate on all DMV inquiries through resolution.
Review outstanding title reports, perfected lien reports, and follow up on unperfected liens; sign off on perfected liens.
Keep up to date on DMV related changes and communicate to Management and fellow associates.
Maintain neat and orderly files on each account with attention to complete and accurate detailing of all problems and correspondence.
Travel to local DMV office to process paperwork as needed.
Assist in training associates on DMV procedures.
Update DMV manual on a regular basis.
Adhere to Associate Handbook, Consumer Lending Policy, and Credit Union Regulations.Understands and is accountable for executing all job functions in a way that is consistent with all requirements of BSA, OFAC, and The USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP).
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED).
Minimum one-year experience in Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) multi-state processing.
Ability to professionally manage constant distractions, interruptions, changes in priorities, and work schedules, and deadlines while meeting member/associate commitments.
Ability to listen and remain professional when dealing with difficult personalities, members or associates.
Knowledgeable on credit union operations or financial institution experience.
Experience in consumer lending and processing.
Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and paperless title software.
Excellent communication and Member service advisory skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
