Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. In this role, you'll manage complex tax engagements and play a critical part in the growth and success of both our clients and our team.
In this role, you will:
100% Review of tax returns for Partnerships (1065), and S and C-corps (1120), Individuals (1040) and others, as assigned.
Provide consulting and tax-saving strategies to clients.
Assist in tax field exams and any tax notice resolutions.
Handle routine tax questions, research tax issues, and look for opportunities to provide additional services.
Develop and maintain client relationships by providing high quality service that exceeds client's expectations.
Network with bankers, investment brokers, lawyers, etc.
Assist with managing, training, and developing staff.
What we're looking for:
CPA license required.
At least 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
Strong technical knowledge in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A commitment to mentoring and developing staff, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
