As a Program Manager for a leading insurance firm, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple technical and non-technical projects, ensuring they are executed successfully and aligned with client goals. You will leverage your expertise in both IT project management and consultancy to drive project success, develop strong client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams. Your ability to navigate complex environments, deliver results, and provide strategic guidance will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a portfolio of IT projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert consultancy and ensuring their needs are met through tailored solutions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.
Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Provide regular project updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and value.
Contribute to the development of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 5 years of experience in program management, specifically managing IT projects.
Proven experience in an insurance or consultancy environment, working directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
Experience with enterprise-level IT solutions and integrations.
Experience working in a consulting firm or as part of a consultancy team.
This role will be 2 days a week on-site in Parsippany, NJ.
