The Alliance/Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams in preparing project timelines, scope, deliverables, communication plans and budgets to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed on time. Projects will range from early development through commercial launch; special projects, and CDMO projects through launch. The Project Manager coordinates the resources required for successful project completion, identifies and removes roadblocks, and maintains project tracking tools to provide up-to-date project status as required.
In the combined Project Manager/Alliance Manager role, The AM will have the responsibility to ensure effective governance of the relationships, protect the company's assets and maximize the long-term value for Lannett's partners and customers. They will serve as the partner and customer advocate and escalate any matters as required.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, including oversight of the project scope, critical path, timeline and financial milestones
Develop, manage and communicate project plans and other company tracking tools
Work with the appropriate department head to develop project budgets, scope of work and risk assessments as part of the lifecycle management process
Communicate project objectives, deliverables, timelines and tasks to team members
Work with project stakeholders to initiate new projects, set timelines, coordinate meetings, identify and help to resolve obstacles, and escalate issues when necessary to support resource allocation and on-time project completion
Manage the deficiency tracking system and gap analysis program to ensure that action items are completed on time to support timely approvals
Demonstrate leadership qualities while facilitating team meetings to ensure the agenda is followed, coordinate follow-up on action items
Accountable for creating and driving a culture of collaboration, transparency and high performance across companies, while fostering a strong partnership.
Providing a single point of contact for partners and a pathway for business/contractual issue resolution or other business-related matters.
Attend joint team meetings and/or on-site collaborators visits as applicable.
Proactively monitor the economic value of each assigned collaboration
Review, approve and track material financial payments and route payments requests through Finance.
Proactively track, monitor and communicate contract milestones, obligations and any financial payments to project team leaders and management.
Perform periodic alliance health checks and negotiate through alliance related issues.
Work with Legal and other internal stakeholders, as well as partners, to review and execute contract renewals and amendments.
Review existing collaboration agreements and develop plans to clarify/amend these where necessary in order to maximize their overall value to Lannett.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of project management and/or alliance management experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
PMP certification preferred but not required
Working knowledge of product development and related industry guidelines, such as ICH and GMP
Understanding of FDA regulatory development and submission processes • Proficiency with MS Office Programs, including MS Project
Proven ability to manage multiple, multi-faceted projects and deliver results
Experience working with multidisciplinary groups (internal & external) and ability to work in and communicate across all levels of the organization
Leadership, negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet required timelines
