Position Overview: We are seeking a Assistant Project Manager to play a pivotal role in managing logistical and administrative tasks to support the successful delivery of our projects. This position is integral to ensuring seamless operations by maintaining schedules, overseeing resources, and fostering communication between internal teams and external partners.
Work Environment:
Location: On-site (100%)
Collaboration: Regular interaction with cross-functional teams, including project managers, design professionals, field teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management: Organize, track, and maintain essential project records using internal systems and project management tools (e.g., RFIs, submittals, invoicing).
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for team members and external collaborators.
Resource Planning: Assist in developing material lists, coordinating schedules, and procuring necessary equipment and materials.
On-Site Support: Provide assistance with field operations, safety compliance, inspections, and quality assurance.
Schedule Monitoring: Update and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
Job Site Coordination: Facilitate smooth operations by supporting site logistics and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Industrial Operations preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
Experience: 2-3+ years in a project coordination or support role within construction or a related industry.
Preferred Expertise:
Knowledge of mechanical systems or familiarity with skilled trades is an advantage.
Proficiency in tools such as project management software and digital platforms for documentation and scheduling.
