Senior Product Manager

Direct Hire Full-Time Role

Salary Range: $135,200 - $145,600 per year

Location: Santa Clara, CA - Onsite Role

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will manage product lines from development to commercialization to support the growth of the business through new product introductions worldwide. You will focus on upstream and downstream product management activities, working closely with cross-functional product development teams to bring products to commercialization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of spine medical device marketing plans and ensure effective implementation of commercial plans in line with the overall franchise goals and marketing strategy. Conduct rapid sharing of best practices across functions and regions.
  • Lead the development, pilot, and implementation of various commercial models, including novel distributor models, using TRs to grow the business, service agreements, and product bundling to maximize the impact on our spine business.
  • Track brand and market performance of spine solutions, analyze issues and action plan development within a defined annual operating plan and assist in developing the franchise budget (including travel, promotion, advertising, etc.) and plans.
  • Analyze competitor activities, customer needs, technology and infrastructure, and therapy adoption relevant to our own solutions impact of market conditions, guide teams, report back to the domestic and global team, and highlight possible modifications to the franchise spine marketing plan.
  • Support the development of key marketing communications around spine medical devices, working closely with agencies and media to develop the right messaging and delivery. Seek domestic and global approvals. Track the effectiveness of the communication to drive differentiation for our spine solutions.
  • Establish relationships with KOLs in the field, create relationships with sales and marketing counterparts, develop support structures and relationships with sales representatives and management, and lead customer events.
  • Develop global training objectives and deliverable plans in partnership with the training team. Ensure dissemination of the marketing collateral to sales teams and guide spine solution queries.
  • Own content schedule, content development, and execution; track key metrics, sales force awareness, and understanding of communicated content.
  • Ensure alignment with cross-functional counterparts on marketing strategy, tools and content, customer targeting, sales training, co-marketing of meetings and events activities, and technology development priorities.
  • Support the Quality System.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or master's degree with 5+ years of experience
  • 7+ years of product management, product marketing, or sales experience, ideally in the medical device industry (spine or orthopedics preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-growth commercial environment; experience with large (established) and small companies is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills are critical.
  • Able to work in a high-performing team environment, multi-task, and accommodate changing priorities within compressed timelines.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize time and resources
  • Previous experience working in a matrix environment and cross-functionally
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
