Our client is currently seeking an Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include: • Develop detailed, accurate, and complete project estimates reflecting all requirements and specifications. • Assess and address potential risks, ensuring proper evaluation and documentation. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of key contract terms and conditions for both owners and contractors. • Participate in pre-bid meetings with owners, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and clarity. • Collaborate to develop preliminary construction schedules for each estimate. • Maintain and evaluate subcontractor prequalification records.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating or general contracting. • Proven ability to estimate projects across various sectors. • Strong track record of successfully transitioning projects from estimation to project management. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and on-screen takeoff software; experience with Revit or CAD is an advantage. • Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
