Skyline has a compelling opportunity for an experienced Executive Director to lead the operations of a lively and sophisticated CCRC in downtown Seattle. The Executive Director role at Skyline requires a skilled and seasoned leader who possesses a balance of operational excellence, financial acumen, as well as an outstanding ability to build relationships with residents and team members. In addition, we're seeking a strategic leader who can clearly communicate a vision for the community to both residents and team members, anticipate and address challenges from multiple viewpoints, and then execute with a spirit of collaboration and inclusion.

Our Executive Director:
Oversees operations and manages financial performance of the Skyline community. Leads all areas of operations, meeting all financial and budgetary objectives.
Collaborates with department directors to meet resident expectations and service needs.
Maintains oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results.
Supports the development of strategic marketing initiatives to foster resident referrals and develop new resident acquisitions to achieve occupancy goals.
Sets and achieves community-based revenue goals with the help of Senior Leadership and partnering with other stakeholders.
Provides exceptional leadership for the Community and its staff, leading by example and promoting the Culture of Excellence in all aspects of the work environment.
Implements programs and services for residents that are developed in tandem with Regional and Corporate staff members and inclusive of resident feedback.
Works with residents, family and responsible parties to achieve high level of satisfaction.
Maintains a positive relationship with the surrounding business community.
Maintains confidentiality of employee and resident records as appropriate.
Operates Skyline in accordance with Transforming Age's policies and procedures and ensures the safety and security of residents and staff.
Oversee implementation and compliance with applicable health care and safety regulations and guidelines.
Promotes the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age, as well as the Culture of Excellence, in all areas of responsibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 years or more of experience working in a leadership role in a Senior Living community. Strong preference working in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).
Exceptional knowledge of senior living community operations as well as state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the senior living industry. A current NHA license is preferred.
Experience working with long term care, independent, assisted living and memory care with experience developing and managing budgets and capital improvement projects.
Proven track record of effectively leading a direct service organization with a complex array of programs with the ability to leverage staff strengths across program areas.
Strong management and decision-making skills including the ability to influence, engage, and lead others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact.
Demonstrated skill to be an analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
Experience interfacing with senior management, organization staff, and external stakeholders on various metrics and policies.
Excellent skills in change management with the proven ability to employ a transparent, collaborative and consensus-building approach that encourages resident and staff feedback prior to implementation of new initiatives or program changes.
Knowledge of program evaluation, specifically within nonprofit evaluation methods and tactics.
Superior project management, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Point Click Care, and ADP.
Ability to provide sensitivity and diplomacy to diverse issues arising within our multicultural environment.
