Position Description
Falcone Institute psychoeducational coaches work with clients to enhance their learning experiences through skill development, content mastery, and whole brain learning strategies. Through extensive training, coaches learn evidence-based and innovative techniques to guide individuals as they discover and develop their unique learning potential. Overview of the Psychoeducational Coach Role
Provide individualized psychoeducational support through one-on-one and small group sessions with children and teens.
Deliver specialized cognitive enhancement programs to strengthen learning capabilities, communication skills, and abstract thinking.
Guide neurocognitive training sessions to optimize learning potential.
Support academic success during the school year by teaching effective learning strategies across all subjects and grade levels.
Integrate and apply various, specific methodologies to maximize client skill-acquisition and reinforcement.
Empower clients with practical techniques for stress management and emotional regulation.
Document client progress through detailed and comprehensive session notes.
Participate in collaborative team meetings to ensure integrated support and consistent program management.
Psychoeducational Coach Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree, typically in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Health Sciences, Cognitive Sciences, or related fields
Exceptional interpersonal awareness with ability to read and respond dynamically to individual and group needs
Advanced critical thinking, communication, and language skills
Strong organizational abilities with keen attention-to-detail and information synthesis
Resourceful critical thinking skills in dynamic environments
Emotional intelligence and openness to professional growth through constructive feedback and self-reflection
Proficiency in high school-level math and science, including:
Mathematics: Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calculus
Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Spanish language proficiency preferred
Classroom or educational setting experience a plus
Job Type: Part-time to start (approx. 25-30 hours per week); potential for summer full-time.
