We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team and drive the transformation of our network infrastructure while ensuring robust security to protect our customers and brand. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid capacity, with three days in the office. Preference is given to candidates in Newport Beach, CA, but the role is also open to individuals in our Omaha, NE office.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain a cutting-edge global network infrastructure while collaborating with the corporate security team to develop and deploy advanced security controls. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Fortune 500 environments and demonstrated expertise in global network management.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize network and network security solutions, including products, platforms, and appliances.
Analyze and solve complex network issues, identifying innovative solutions that have broad business impacts.
Design and execute multi-site datacenter setups, migrations, and disaster recovery plans.
Manage and support multi-site WAN/MAN/SDWAN architectures, including cloud environments integrated with enterprise networks (direct and VPN connections).
Ensure network security by monitoring for breaches, investigating violations, and implementing preventive controls.
Perform network maintenance, including patches, hotfixes, and configuration updates.
Utilize network tools for administration, automation, and performance analysis, and develop detailed technical documentation.
Collaborate with IT security audits to implement required controls and respond to audit findings.
Foster cross-functional relationships to understand business needs, advocate for stakeholders, and communicate complex network solutions effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience configuring and supporting network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Extensive expertise in Cisco ACI, including multi-site datacenter buildouts and migrations.
Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure network solutions.
Strong skills in L2/L3 protocols and technologies such as ACI, IPSec, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, VPC, QoS, and 802.1x.
Experience with Cisco platforms (Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Nexus) and tools like NetScaler and Riverbed.
Familiarity with open-source tools for monitoring and performance analysis.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cisco Data Center certification.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
Knowledge of Juniper and HPE routing/switching equipment.
