This role focuses on maintaining, integrating, and optimizing the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) within the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in developing and managing operational technology systems, ensuring efficient operations and data integration.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with users and software vendors to resolve financial application issues and support application upgrades.
Translate project specifications into a sequence of detailed instructions using flowcharts and diagrams for coding, applying expertise in programming techniques and computer languages.
Design and develop reports using Maximo's BIRT toolset and/or Power BI.
Participate in after-hours support as part of a rotational team.
Document program development, including logic, coding, and corrections.
Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Conduct user training on various programs.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to program users.
Monitor solution performance post-implementation.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
A minimum of five (5) years of direct Maximo software development experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience and Skills:
At least two (2) years of recent experience in system development, support, implementation, and upgrades.
Minimum two (2) years of development experience with C#, Python, Java, REST API/JSON, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with the full product development lifecycle.
Advanced SQL skills with MS SQL and/or Oracle databases.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including git, GitHub, version control, and source control.
Proficiency in writing code to implement business logic through Model methods, properties, and events.
Strong customer service orientation.
Analytical skills to identify and resolve technical and functional issues effectively.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills, capable of engaging with various levels of personnel.
Proven experience in application development using WinForms, Microsoft.Net, or similar technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical requirements to diverse audiences.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively under supervision.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (required for travel).
Preferred certifications:
IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Manage v8.0
