Job Description:

Apex is hiring a Lead Product Designer to lead a small team on an enterprise level with an upcoming 2025 project initiative.

Duration - 6+ month W2 contract

Location - 100% remote, preference to candidates near Houston, TX and open to hybrid schedule in some capacity

Pay - 75+++/hr W2 starting pay

Top Requirements:

• Ideally, this is someone who can and has run a small team
• Should be a solid end to end Product Designer with some experience in strategy and research as well.
• Needs to be great with stakeholder management
• Significant experience in complex domains

Responsibilities

• Understand desires of client and create attractive product
• Work closely with product managers and other teams (sales and marketing) to establish plan for product release
• Acknowledge budget and make plans in order to follow financial guidelines
• Create product prototypes prior to creating final product
• Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+years, Senior-lead level experience
• Strong creative, design and communication skills
• Portfolio of work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
