What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Project Oversight: Leading all project phases, ensuring appropriate staffing, and keeping timelines on track.
Material Management: Negotiating material pricing, coordinating purchasing, and ensuring on-time delivery of tools and equipment.
Budget Control: Monitoring budgets, managing costs, and achieving financial goals.
Client Relations: Building strong relationships with clients, architects, and suppliers while serving as their primary point of contact.
Team Leadership: Guiding field supervisors, superintendents, and foremen through pre- and post-project meetings while motivating your team.
Compliance: Ensuring all permits, insurance, bonds, and change orders are properly documented and inspections are completed.
Site Inspections: Regularly visiting project sites to monitor progress, address challenges, and uphold safety standards.
Who You'll Work With
Reports To: Vice President of Construction.
Collaborates With: Estimators, Field Supervisors, and the Accounting Department.
What You Bring
Education: High school diploma required; a four-year degree is preferred (equivalent experience considered).
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory role within commercial plumbing.
Skills:
Proficiency in reading blueprints, financial reports, and legal documents.
Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and direct teams effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail for cost analysis and project tracking.
Advanced knowledge of project management tools and office software.
