Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following.
Assist and encourage residents in setting goals, by utilizing the skills needed to facilitate individual recovery
Teach independent living skills, and promote positive choices
Assist in some daily housekeeping and cooking duties
Document and maintain accurate case files as required by agency policy, government regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal codes
Communicate concerns to appropriate staff so our multi-disciplinary treatment team is fully aware of our clients needs
Maintain daily schedule and enforce all policies and procedures
Lead and/or participate in group settings to educate residents
Medication administration
Transport clients to meetings / events
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, qualify to drive company vehicles, and pass a DHS caregiver background check.
Candidates must possess, or qualify for, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, CPR and First Aid training, Medication Administration, and attend any required in-service training and conferences.
