The Boeing Company's Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join the team in Englewood, CO.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a range of services across various cloud platforms to our customers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that these services not only meet the specific business expectations of our clients but also align with the strategic direction established by the Digital Solutions & Analytics (DS&A) team, including input from customers, managers, and leaders. By effectively bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, the candidate will contribute to the overall success of our cloud initiatives, fostering strong relationships and driving innovation in our service offerings.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides and maintains cloud data security and integrity to protect customer privacy
Ensures documented and maintained cloud infrastructure architecture and configuration services
Supports and participates in corporate compliance and cloud improvement initiatives
Listens, develops, and facilitates customer requirements to support of valued and maintainability solutions
Releases support for production products
Monitors, maintains, and communicates, patching certificate management, security vulnerability, cost management, and production support details and on-going opportunities for improvements
Joins escalation policy via Pager Duty to support product services
Documents each critical production service end-to-end including architecture defined by application teams
Adheres to defined production operations, Agile practices, etc.
Leads activities to define, deploy, evaluate and support common computing standards, IT processes, tools and process/performance metrics
Participates in defining plans to support common standards and processes
Identifies qualitative and quantitative improvement measures
Advises on the selection of key parameters and standards to monitor progress
Leads the definition, development and deployment of common process requirements and infrastructure products and services
Leads activities to educate and promote use of Boeing IT common processes, methodologies, products and services
Consults and advises others in common processes for software development and maintenance
Reviews and evaluates new technology for software process impact
Supports and integrates architecture mapping to common processes
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Experience with various Scripting tools like Python, Perl or Ruby
Experience with various DevOps tools Gitlab, Jenkins, Containers, etc.
Experience with various Automation tools Cheff, and Pupet
Experience with Microsoft Federated Identity Management
Experience with continuous integration deployments
Experience using Windows PowerShell for scripting
Experience with VMware 5.x and or virtual server deployments
Experience with Amazon AWS services and/or Microsoft Azur
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850
