Join our client, a food processing company, as a Sr. Maintenance Manager, where you'll oversee a talented group of professionals, including Managers, Supervisors, and hourly Technicians, to ensure the seamless operation of their facility. About the Role



As the Sr. Maintenance Manager, you will:

• 
  Lead & Mentor: Guide and support your team to achieve excellence in maintenance operations.


• 
  Innovate & Improve: Develop and implement maintenance programs (preventative, predictive, corrective) that enhance plant performance.


• 
  Optimize Resources: Create purchasing plans and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective use of machinery and materials.


• 
  Enhance Systems: Oversee and improve their CMMS and other maintenance tools to maximize efficiency.


• 
  Collaborate & Negotiate: Handle vendor relations, including cost estimates and contract negotiations, while monitoring expenditures.


• 
  Drive Sustainability: Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with current regulations.

What You'll Need

• 
  Education: A bachelor's degree (in engineering is preferred).


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • 7-10 years in maintenance within a food processing facility.
  
  
  • Proven leadership in a maintenance management role.
  
  
  • Expertise in HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical operations.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Skills:
  
  
  
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  
  
  • Effective communication in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
  
  
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  
  
  • Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks in refrigerated areas and other plant environments.
