Job Description:




Ensight Solutions is currently seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This position will service the following territories: Florida, Georgia, Carolinas, Mississippi, Alabama & Tennessee.

We are known for developing, building and integrating innovative machine and robotics solutions to help food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical processors overcome their challenges. We are headquartered in Strafford, MO, with manufacturing facilities there and in Kansas City. Our company consists of four well-known brands-A-One, Bridge, Likwifier and Bematek-and we build everything from commercial blenders to conveyors to one-off automated machines.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for being our customers' trusted advisor, optimizing the relationships by building a strong foundation of trust. Each Regional Sales Manager is assigned a region with total account authority over that region. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to live in their represented region.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Continually builds sale pipeline via cold calling, networking, and in-person customer visits. Saleperson should have a "hunter" mentality.

• Develops and nurtures customer relationships for long-term business growth.

• Partners with the customer to develop strategic solutions to address customer requirements, assess customers' met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.

• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines or teams supported.

• Gather and share market information and intelligence with the team.

• Qualify new opportunities, projects and applications for profitability and repeatability.

• Works closely with the service team to assure 100% customer satisfaction.

• Represents the Company at Trade Shows and networking events.

• Builds and strengthens relationships with both existing and new customers.

• Provides coaching and professional development to less experienced members of the Sales team in order to enhance their product and industry knowledge.

• Performs other duties as directed or assigned.


Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (i.e. Business, Engineering or Food Science etc.) is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience selling food processing or food packaging capital equipment with proven track record of success.

• Must be a good listener, able to understand customer needs.

• Must be naturally outgoing, energetic and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.


Skills and Abilities

PC Skills

• CRM (Salesforce preferred)

• Microsoft Office


Other Skills

• Ability to relate and communicate at all levels of customers' organization; from Maintenance shop to senior management.

• Ability to self-manage and work independently and in teams.

• Experience in managing the sales process and aptitude for navigating a long sales cycle.

• Sales training (e.g., Miller Heiman, SPIN, Prime Diagnostic, etc.)


Travel Requirements

This position requires 50% travel at minimum.
