Job Description:

We're seeking a Product Development Coordinator with an excellent eye for color as well as knowledge of printed and applied techniques across graphic tees and all over prints. They will ensure all product is executed to the standard of the industry leading brands in our portfolio for our growing activewear business. This person will work closely with the Product Development team as well as cross-functional teams within the business in addition to communicating with vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive graphic tee and all over print strike-offs across all brands, make comments, and review with Designer and/or Merchandiser for comments on color and quality where necessary
  • Analyze graphics within the graphic Tee category from Strike off through production then review with Designer prior to submitting final comments and/or approvals to Production
  • Analyze prints against different execution methods (ex. sublimations vs roller prints) from strike off to bulk yardage then review with Designer prior to submitting final comments
  • Set up and maintain graphic and all over print strike approval notebooks
  • Send comments to Production
  • Recognize and troubleshoot issues that may cause delivery delays or liabilities then quickly communicate the details of the problem to work through solutions with leadership
  • Maintain communication with Design to keep track of style changes, art updates, and graphic placements
  • Follow up with Production, Design, Sales, and vendors regarding any questions that may arise during the development cycle

Qualifications:
  • BA in Product Development or closely related field
  • 3+ years of Product Development or relevant work experience in apparel industry
  • Knowledge of graphic print and applied techniques for graphic Tees
  • Knowledge of Textile Surface Design to include all over print execution and repeats for apparel
  • Strong Illustrator experience
  • PLM experience is a plus
  • Understanding of garment construction with strong product knowledge and deep understanding of production processes
  • Strong color eye and keen trend awareness
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and follow up skills with timelines and milestones

Annual salary starting at $60,000
