A company located in Red Hill, PA is seeking Purchasing Associate on a contract to hire basis (this is a hybrid position working two days on site and three days remote). The Purchasing Associate will be in charge of handling accurate and timely purchase order receival and processing. Duties will consist of maintaining products delivery dates, performing follow up on back ordered items and late delivery dates, delivering information, data entry, providing suppliers with daily POs, performing matching conformation to POs, coordinating product pick-ups, generating reports, placing online orders, coordinating product testing, repairs, and returns. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. MS Excel proficiency is needed as well.
Requirements
1-2 years of recent purchasing department experience preferred
Recent college graduates will be considered
Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
