Job Description:

Blue Chip Talent is currently looking for a skilled Jira & Confluence Administrator to join our team in a hybrid capacity, contributing both remotely and onsite a few times a week. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to enhance the performance and efficiency of our Atlassian tools while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

All candidates must work on our W2. We do not use 3rd party vendors under any circumstance so please don't ask.

Candidates need to be located in the Irvine CA area to be onsite 2-3 days a week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Jira and Confluence, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to organizational practices.
  • Maintain and enhance the Atlassian environment, including tool configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and ensure they align with tool functionality.
  • Drive tool adoption by leading training sessions, creating documentation, and sharing best practices.
  • Analyze and bridge gaps between current capabilities and business needs.
  • Provide timely support and guidance, addressing escalated issues as needed.
  • Partner with teams to enforce and refine project delivery workflows.
  • Regularly conduct demonstrations and training sessions tailored to user needs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to streamline collaboration.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience working hands-on with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk) and managing related add-ons (e.g., Structure, Insight, Zephyr).
  • Proven track record of enabling enterprise-level processes and workflows using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining integrations with development tools and managing tool-generated reports.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of networking concepts and IT systems.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and handling multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree and significant experience administering Atlassian products.
