Key Job Functions:
Property Valuation: Accurately determine "as-is" and "after-repair value (ARV)" using Park Place Finance's proprietary software.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and neighborhood data to produce precise valuations.
Report Preparation: Deliver thorough and compliant appraisal reports in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to provide key insights on valuations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all appraisals meet applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Inspections: Conduct virtual or in-person property inspections as needed.
Document Verification: Review contractor bids, project estimates, and other supporting documents for ARV evaluations.
Software Utilization: Leverage our proprietary tools and platforms to streamline appraisals.
Professional Development: Stay informed on industry changes, real estate trends, and regulatory updates.
Team Support: Act as a resource for colleagues on appraisal matters and contribute to the company's growth.
Position Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of residential property appraisal experience.
Licensing: Must be a licensed appraiser in Texas or another state.
Technical Skills: Proficient with appraisal software, Excel, and other computer-based tools.
Location: Position requires you to work in-office Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, at our downtown Austin office. Relocation is considered, but candidates already in Austin are strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000, commensurate with experience.
