Job Description:

Hansen Talent Group is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Sr. IT Project Manager to work with one of the largest enterprises in Columbia, SC.

In this role, you will oversee the coordination, reporting, and stability of SDLC project-oriented work efforts, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.

This is a hybrid role and will require 2-3 days onsite in Columbia, SC.

What You'll Do:
  • Project Oversight: Lead projects from inception to final business acceptance and implementation, adhering to established project management methodologies and ensuring alignment with ISSM expectations.
  • Planning & Monitoring: Develop and manage project plans, risk management plans, and documentation from scope to post-implementation. Track milestones, assign resources, and adjust plans to meet objectives.
  • Resource Management: Monitor resource needs based on project specifications and ensure assignments align with objectives while staying within budgeted hours. Escalate issues as necessary.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders through meetings, reports, and documentation. Ensure all parties are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Issue Management: Identify and manage issues impacting scope, resources, and timelines. Communicate changes and their implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project work adheres to documentation standards for audit purposes, maintaining compliance with project methodology standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated IT Project Management experience.
  • Experience leading several projects concurrently in a strong matrix environment, executing SDLC methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, information systems, business processes, and the key drivers and measures of success for the business unit and the organization.
  • Demonstrated competency in management of resources to meet goals and multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and present formal presentations.
  • Ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion.

Software and Technology: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, MindView, Jira, Azure Boards, MS Project, etc.
