We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in MEP construction and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects while growing your expertise in mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of MEP construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
Coordinate with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of mechanical work.
Review design drawings, submittals, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Assist in project scheduling, cost control, and procurement of materials and equipment.
Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with design teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
Analyze project data to ensure alignment with budgets, timelines, and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or MEP construction projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects.
Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
