Cryobiology, Inc. (Cryobio) & Reproductive Diagnostics, Inc. (RDI) seek a full-time entry-level laboratory technician to join our team! This lab position requires a willingness to learn, the ability to follow directions and procedures, and strong attention to detail. This is an entry-level position, and the selected candidate will begin as a paid intern. After six months in the position, there will be a formal review to assess if the laboratory intern is prepared to advance to Junior Laboratory Technician. This advancement will be met with an increase in compensation. The Laboratory Technician is essential to our daily operations and will directly impact individuals and couples on their path to parenthood.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in biology, Animal Science, Life Sciences, or any related Science field (required)
Laboratory experience (preferred)
Proficiency with standard lab equipment and aseptic technique (plus)
Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
Work in a collaborative team environment
Maintain confidentiality
Perform semen analyses and semen processing for use in infertility procedures
Process donor sperm samples
Interact with patients and/or patients' partners referred to RDI by local physicians' offices for andrology services
Exhibit empathy, understanding, and care while interacting with patients, recipients, and donor-conceived people in person, over the phone, or via email
Interact daily with our Cryobio donors
Assist and counsel potential recipients in the process of choosing a sperm donor, ordering, and sending their sample to their required destination
Attention to detail
Follow directions and procedures
Perform daily QC measurements
Assist with monthly and quarterly quality assurance
Schedule patients, clients, and donors
Perform tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and faxing important and confidential patient client documents
Multitask when needed
Flexibility when asked to perform other duties and projects as assigned
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
