We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President of Information Technology to lead and innovate within a rapidly evolving organization. Reporting to the CEO, this executive role is pivotal in aligning IT strategy with business objectives and driving technology transformation across the company.
The VP of IT will oversee key areas such as Custom Development, IT/Security, Applications, and Vendor Management. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in managing complex IT operations, driving continuous improvement, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure the seamless integration of technology with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of IT strategies, policies, and budgets to align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide IT support and solutions across functions including Account Management, Equipment Management, and Back Office operations.
Provide expert guidance on software development tools, cloud services, and communication technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to drive business growth and innovation.
Foster a high-performance culture within the IT department, focusing on staff development and continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with organizational needs and security standards.
Oversee the company's data warehouse, ensuring optimized data management, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
Ensure IT systems are secure, scalable, and fully aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior IT leadership role.
Proven ability to lead IT transformation and drive change in complex environments.
Strong expertise in cloud technologies, Azure, CI/CD, and high-availability solutions.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams and influence organizational change.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries is a plus (but not required).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field required. MBA or relevant Master's preferred.
