Typical Work Activities: (the following work activities are listed as examples only.)
Operates a truck in connection with removal of snow and refuse and in the transportation of stone, gravel and other materials; Operates a tractor or truck with snow plow, dozer or other attachments; Operates other road construction equipment; and Performs or assists in preventative maintenance on department equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in operation of automotive equipment such as dump trucks, snow plows and other similar equipment.
Special Requirement:
Possession of a valid NYS Class B Driver's License at time of appointment. Candidates are required to pass a physical examination and drug test. All resumes submitted must include a completed Application for Employment.
