Assist in the sales management of Retail, Club, Asian Market & Military business. Work with Sales team and brokers to maintain all CPG account pricing, manage Data Synchronization for all CPG trading partners. Manage Brokerage in JDE for all CPG brokers. Item setup by using various systems used by Walmart, Sam’s and Costco. Maintain Ajinomoto portal for CPG, Assist VP of Sales service with various projects.
Responsibilities
Co-Manage Walmart & Sam’s Account
Work with Walmart replenishment managers in co-managing various vendor contracts.
Use Walmart’s Retail Link system(s) to run data and performance reports.
Use Sam’s Club MADRID2.0 system to run performance reports and Sales data.
Run weekly inventory reports to ensure enough Walmart Demand is covered.
Work with Logistics to Maintain 90% on-time delivery to Walmart.
Assist management to maintain plant social audits current as requested by Walmart.
Cross train with the Club business to provide backup support.
Data Synchronization
Publish new item information via Data SYNC with participating trading partners.
Use Trading partner websites to finalize item setup in their system.
Work with Digital Marketing Manager and ensure current product images and content is published to trading partners
Power Bi
Generate & Maintain sales reports using customer POS data.
Create customized sales report(s) for assigned accounts.
Other
Interface with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, Accounting, and various other departments in executing stated company and customer strategic plans.
Work with brokers on Costco, BJ’s and Sam’s Club along with other various brokers and customers to manage inventories, ordering procedures and packaging request.
Provide support and work on general projects as needed within the Consumer Products Group
Qualifications
BS or BA degree preferred but not required and a minimum of 1-3 years in sales/marketing of consumer products and a strong background and expertise with Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club Co-Managed, Retail Link system and JDE system knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to be organized and work within a broad range of functional areas.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, brokers and field sales.
Ability to work well in a “team” environment. Proficient skills in budgeting, forecasting, written and oral communications, presentation skills and personal computing (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point).
Position requires stamina and ability to handle multiple task, make decisions and at times work with ambiguous situations. Must be able to work under time constraints.
