Job Description:

Location: Ohio, OH

Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Outside Sales - Paper Cores and Tubes, Converting Industries



Territory: Ohio, Indiana, and surrounding areas


Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop new business opportunities in the assigned area
  
  


• Visit and communicate with new and existing customers to understand their needs and explain how specific products can meet those needs (travel required)
  
  


• Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, and lead times
  
  


• Sell products to new prospects, communicate the company's value proposition, and identify opportunities within existing accounts to increase market share
  
  


• Develop and maintain strong customer/prospect relationships
  
  


• Manage the territory sales funnel for new business
  
  


• Provide regular progress reports on each account
  
  


• Monitor new and existing accounts for any issues that may affect sales
  
  


• Investigate and resolve account complaints/issues with the sales team
  
  


• Attend trade shows and association meetings (may require overnight travel)
  
  


• Maintain accurate expense and sales reports
  
  


• Improve selling techniques and internal product knowledge
  
  


• Adapt to changes productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

• College degree preferred
  
  


• Minimum of 3 years direct outside account selling experience required
  
  


• Experience in the tape and label or converting industries strongly preferred
  
  


• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Midwest
