RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist in Houston, TX.

Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Design Specialist to join on a six-month contract with the potential for extension. This role involves designing, improving, and supporting training materials and documentation for various Product Service Lines and Support Services. The position is on-site and requires strong technical skills in e-learning tools and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Instructional Design Specialist will design, improve, and support training materials and special documentation based on organizational needs


• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop effective learning solutions


• Utilize e-learning tools to create interactive and engaging training content


• As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will edit and produce videos to enhance training materials


• Manage multiple projects autonomously while meeting deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience


• 0-2 years of instructional design experience; Without a degree, 2 years of relevant experience is required


• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline (portfolio or work samples required)


• Experience with additional e-learning tools such as Rise 360, AI Voiceover software, and Camtasia


• Video Editing - Strong ability to create and edit video content for training materials


• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management - Effective communication and teamwork with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders


• Project Management - Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple simultaneous projects


• Creativity in designing engaging learning solutions


• Ability to adapt and work efficiently under deadlines


• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work approach

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
