BI Business Analyst at Kforce Inc in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a BI Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between business leaders and the BI team to define and deliver advanced Power BI reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements for Power BI dashboards


• Translate business needs into technical requirements for BI developers


• Ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices


• Analyze large datasets and ensure accuracy in reporting metrics


• Support master data management efforts in collaboration with BI leads

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on BI or data analytics


• Demonstrated experience delivering Power BI dashboards and reports


• Technical: Power BI, data governance, data analytics, data modeling, data warehousing, Azure Data Factory, SQL, DAX, data visualization, ETL processes


• Communication skills


• Stakeholder engagement experience


• Business acumen


• Analytical mindset


• Preferred: Transportation industry experience or exposure to large-scale digital transformations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
