Backend Java/GraphQL Developer at Kforce Inc in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is immediately seeking a skilled Backend Java/GraphQL Developer to join their team and play a pivotal role in building a new application from scratch. This application will support service activation and disconnection processes for our customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, microservices, and API creation, with a focus on innovation and problem-solving in a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a backend application from the ground up to support service activation and disconnection workflows


• Design and implement APIs and microservices using Java and GraphQL


• Ensure seamless integration and operation within an AWS-hosted environment


• Collaborate closely with tech leads and architects to align with project goals and technical standards


• Apply knowledge of CI/CD, YAML, and HELM for deployments as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven Experience in:

• Java-based backend development


• GraphQL for API design and implementation


• AWS cloud infrastructure


• Building microservices and APIs from scratch

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambdas


• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, YAML, and HELM


• Experience with deployment strategies in cloud environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
