We provide professional services that help transform lives, from direct care to specialized facilities and logistical support. To meet our clients’ needs, Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Senior Vetting Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day tactical work instructions, training, and support to the Vetting Specialists. Under the direction of the Vetting Supervisor, this role will be the subject matter expert for processes and workflow for the team to ensure that tasks are appropriately assigned, completed on schedule, and within compliance standards. 

Essential Functions:


  • Provide guidance to team members and ensure that they have the necessary tools, training, and support to be efficient in their role

  • Assign and prioritize tasks within the team to ensure timely completion of work assignments

  • Ensure that all vetting tasks comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards and that security and data integrity are maintained

  • Compile information about vetting efforts and outcomes and provide regular reports and status updates to leadership

  • Delegate tasks to team members and follow up to ensure that required documents are received and processed to meet deadlines

  • Escalate problems to Vetting supervisor and appropriate leaders

  • Respond to requests for information and documents

  • Assist with onboarding and training

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Proficiency in Office 365, One Drive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and standard office equipment

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in vetting and risk management

  • Familiarity with background check systems, vetting tools, or third-party due diligence platforms

  • Comfortable speaking with members of the leadership team 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines  

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organization skills 

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish 

  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 business environment

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree; related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Two to three years’ relevant experience, with one to two years in a lead or supervisory role preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)

  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check and employer and government (eQip or eApp) background checks after accepting a conditional offer of employment

Pay: Up to $28.85 hourly
