With offerings that range from skilled professional services, including direct care services, to specialized facilities and logistical support, we set high standards for ourselves in all our endeavors.  This job opportunity is for services to be performed under a contract with the federal government Office of Refugee Resettlement.

The Housekeeping and Laundry Aide will perform laundry and housekeeping functions at Deployed Services.   

 Essential Functions: 


  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility to include, but not limited to: 

    • Dust and mop facility, Including floor, walls, and lights 

    • Vacuum all carpeted areas 

    • Wipe and sanitize all surfaces 

    • Empty trash and replace liners. Transport to dumpsters or outbound transfer areas, as needed 



  • Clean and disinfect areas throughout the facility to include, but not limited to: 

    •  Toilets, sinks, door handles, glass doors, walls, flooring, and other areas, as needed 



  • Launder and fold 

  • Maintain cleaning logs 

  • Collect and tag textiles 

  • Help maintain an accurate inventory of all linens 

  • Report on supply shortages to Manager 

  • Seek cost savings in daily operations 

  • Other duties as assigned 













Knowledge and Skills: 


  • Proven proficiency in housekeeping operations 

  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English

  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and identify and correct problems 

  • Great organizational skills 

  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 business environment  




Education and Experience: 


  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred 

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) 

  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
