Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Research Analyst to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Resilient Systems Office (RSO) PM activities. The ARPA-H mission is to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Strong knowledge of infectious disease epidemiology, health security, or biosecurity, with experience in risk assessment, modeling, and analytics for outbreaks or environmental health concerns, including familiarity with mitigation strategies.
2. Proficiency in statistical software tools such as R, SAS, or Python for epidemiological data analysis.
3. Proven ability to write and publish peer-reviewed scientific articles or policy papers, with strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex data into actionable insights for policymakers or the general public.

Experience:

1. Experience working with geospatial data and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS platforms for disease mapping and spatial analysis.
2. Expertise in using public health data systems, electronic health records, or surveillance platforms for analysis and reporting. 3. Experience managing public health projects, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
4. Knowledge of public health emergency preparedness and response frameworks.
5. Demonstrated interest in the intersections of climate change, public health, and environmental health challenges.
6. Experience working in a startup environment or contributing to initiatives within an entrepreneurial setting.
7. At least 5 years of experience in epidemiological research, data analysis, or public health program development.


Qualification Requirements:
Education
Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, environmental health, biostatistics, or a related field.
Ph.D. preferred
Clearance
HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
Experience
A minimum of 5+ years working with senior leadership in a professional environment.
