PROGRAM MANAGER, TAP, FT KNOX, KY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leadership & Oversight
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government representatives.
  • Direct and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure contract goals are achieved.
  • Lead contractor program and project teams for optimal program effectiveness.
  • Provide operational expertise to ensure compliance with all TAP policies and processes.
  1. Strategic Management
  • Conduct high-level briefings for command staff and stakeholders.
  • Maintain VOW/CRS compliance and oversee all TAP files.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and availability.
  1. Operational Excellence
  • Ensure all sites are staffed with qualified personnel.
  • Collate, analyze, and deliver centralized reports to stakeholders.
  • Plan and accomplish contract goals while ensuring quality performance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in an advanced management role, with a preference for program management experience.
  • Prior active-duty military experience; O5 or O6.
  • Strong working knowledge of TAP, government chain of command, and transition policies.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Certification in Project Management or related certification is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Leadership Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.

Organizational Skills:

  • Mastery in time management, prioritization, and process improvement.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with TAP policies and change management principles.

Communication:

  • Skilled in delivering briefings and fostering productive stakeholder relationships.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with regular communication with TAP stakeholders and occasional travel to project sites.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours based on project needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily sedentary with occasional light lifting and movement during meetings and site visits.
